DE-NOL (De-Nol) *.
Colloidal subcitrate of bismuth.
Synonyms: Biscolcitrat, De-Noltal, Duosol, Tripotassium dicitrabismutate, Ulceron, etc.
Tribimol (Ttibimol) is close on structure and action to De-nolu.
De-nol has the antiacid and enveloping effect. At reception of tablets inside gradually forms the colloidal weight which is distributed on a stomach cover mucosal surface, envelops covering cells; renders not only antiacid, but also cytoprotective action.
The same indications, as for the tablets 'Vicalinum', 'Vicairum' and other similar drugs (see Sukralfat, Fosfalyugel).
On the having data,-nol is more effective at treatment of a peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum, than bismuth nitrate the main that it is connected with its ability better to sanify mucous membranes of a stomach and a duodenum from peloric heliko (kampit) bakter. Recently the great value in pathogenesis of a peptic ulcer is attached to these activators.
Appoint-nol 4 times a day: on 1 - 2 tablets for 1/2 - 1 h till a breakfast, a lunch and a dinner and 1 - 2 tablet before going to bed. Course of treatment of 4 - 8 weeks.
Usually drug is well transferred; nausea, vomiting are possible. The Kcal at drug treatment is painted in black color. It is not recommended to use drug in heavy renal failures.
In order to avoid the neurotoxic phenomena it is impossible to appoint drug in bolshik doses for a long time.
