lol "what is it to be like to just light up a joint on a Friday night?"
Ummmm that is already the cultural normal among many oilfield and trades workers in Edmonton and has been so for years... just now the cops need to be more creative in their harassment.
I don't think I will ever smoke a join, that's just disgusting. Smoking kills, y'know. Pot-brownies.. I've heard they can mask the strong taste. But it's a hassle to make them. I might just go for something different, like 'magic mushrooms'.
What a Buffoon:
The policy with weed, as it is at the moment, though, is unreasonable.
- Outrageous taxation
- High barrier to entry so only people who own significant capital already can get in on it
- No amnesty for convicts
- Can't grow it in your home (without a medical license)
- No smoking outside - and no smoking inside if your landlord says so
Weed is gonna be very provisionally legalized, and we're gonna need to take a whack at liberalizing the laws around it.
Congratulations Canada for legalizing marihuana!
I don't do drugs, but I still drink alcohol from time to time and cannabis is even less of a problem than alcohol, so good for you on being smart about this issue
Decolonization is truly awesome. I love how you fine folks north of the rediculous border like to give our sick govt the finger now and then 😂😂😂 Always a feel good moment for the people. Portugal has been a mad interesting experiment and I'm hopin more will follow so we can get more of an idea as to the results of changin that mindset and policy. Dope vid, homie ✌
Smoking of anything is disgusting and should be illegal in public. Yes, tobacco too. No, I don't give a shit what you do in private, so long as you can keep your fucking smoke private too. I don't care what drugs you do so long as you're not forcing me to do them with you.
Also weed tastes like shit in food, so I vote no on bong lassi.
haze no ki:
I wiah we counld get rid of recreational drug use entirely, though I would prefer if people would stop voluntarily. Alcohol is legal in most countries, and it's the most damaging drug in the world. Legalisation doesn't remove the problems, absence of drugs does.
At least with alcohol you're not poisoning those around you like you do if you smoke in public, and I've found marijuana smoke even less tolerable than cigarette smoke. I wish the trend of it getting more popular is reversed soon.
I used to go to Amsterdam to get my pot twice in the last 15 years before AZ Med marijuana was offer for the elderly! I want to use it as my only med for depression and as a sleeping aid. I may have to visit Canada for a sight seeing adventure. Any suggestions? Wondering 71 WF!
